Who Should Join?

Math Olympiad is the highest form of creative thinking and logical reasoning. It trains students to develop critical thinking skills that is required to excel in school and in the workplace.

As only 50-60% of Math Olympiad concepts are taught as part of the school curriculum, students are encouraged to expose themselves to Math Olympiad lessons or practice material before joining the competition.

This form of mathematics is suitable for students who are interested in expanding their mathematical knowledge beyond the school syllabus or building up their portfolio to secure scholarships or seats in top schools

SEAMO caters to students aged 7 to 18 years.

Students should indicate their academic grade level at the time of registration. The SEAMO Portal will allocate students to their respective papers automatically.

The Student’s Portal offers students the opportunity to download practice papers.

Students may also refer to the SEAMO past-paper book series for extra practice.

Registration Procedure

No. You may add multiple children in the registration form.

Parents may monitor their child’s performance without the need to login to the student’s account.

Yes. Your Full Name and School Name will be printed on your certificate.

Please ensure there are no errors in the spelling.

Yes. Your login details for the Student Portal will be sent via email. You are unable to access practice material and other important documents if you are not logged in.

Latest Updates such as relese of results and instructions to collect your awards will also be sent via email.

This is not necessary if you have registered through your school and will sit for the exam within your school premises.

Candidates who are sitting for the exam in a different school should provide the correct mailing address – your awards may be sent to you via post.

This is not necessary for candidates who are sitting for the qualifying round in their own country.

A contact number is compulsory for those who qualify for the Global Round (SEAMO X) for security purposes.

Once your registration is complete and payment is made, a Hall Ticket will be sent to you via email.

Students are required to print and bring along the Hall Ticket on the day of the examination. Your Candidate No. is stated in the Hall Ticket and is used for marking purposes.

Fees and Payment

An invoice with payment instructions will be sent to you via email upon registration. Simply follow the steps to make payment.

Fees differ based on currency conversion in each country. You may refer to the invoice for clarification.

No. Once the Hall Ticket is sent to you, your registration is confirmed and no further payment is required.

A Hall Ticket will be sent to you as proof of entry to the exam.

Awards

SEAMO X is the international round where SEAMO top performing candidates represent their country on the global stage. All SEAMO medal winners are eligible to participate.

Apart from Medals and Certificates, SEAMO X top performers will receive a Letter of Recommendation, which serves as an endorsement by Mr Terry Chew.
